This piece is made with a stone from Lake Superior and sterling silver. The silver is oxidized to get the grey color.
All links are soldered shut.
This stone, along with all the stones in my jewelry, have been found by my husband and myself at Lake Superior. Yes, we spend a lot of time at the beach!
The majority of these rock are basalt.
We may have drilled or cut them but otherwise they are un-altered and untreated.
They will absorb some of your oils and deepen in color and take on a beautiful sheen.
I try to find fairly thin rocks and I think you will find them to be much lighter than you would expect.
Each piece is unique.
This pendant is a silver “twig” that I made by melting silver wire, with a medium grey brownish rock bezel set below it. It has a handmade sterling chain with a rock toggle clasp.
This sale is for this item pictured.
The chain measures approx 23 inches when laid out straight and the pendant section is about 3 1/2 inches wide and 1 3/4 long.
The chain length could be changed if need be.
Please feel free to convo me if you have any questions.
